BRIDGEND, WALES – August 18, 2025 – We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for Molomix Bioscience as we welcome our very first employee, Huma Irfan, MSc, MPhil, who joins us today as a Geneticist.

Huma is a motivated and research-driven geneticist who recently completed her M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences (Medical Genetics and Genomics) with Distinction at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her extensive research background includes mapping genes for hereditary disorders, molecular diagnostics, and oncology. Huma’s passion for translational research that bridges the gap between the laboratory and patient care aligns perfectly with our mission to make advanced diagnostics, including rapid genetic testing, accessible and affordable for all.

In her new role, Huma will be instrumental in our collaborative initiatives, initially supporting a crucial comparative study of DNA extraction methods alongside our partners SiGenex and a soon-to-be-announced leading Welsh University. Her expertise in molecular biology techniques, bioinformatics, and data analysis will be vital as we validate new diagnostic assays and drive new research projects.
