Adam James-Wilkinson is a seasoned Sales and Marketing leader who has consistently dedicated his career to advancing organisations that aim to deliver positive impacts in areas such as health, wellbeing, and ecological sustainability.
A key highlight of his career was his instrumental role on the leadership team at Connect Assist, where he successfully guided the social business from its inception through to a strategic acquisition. Since 2021, Adam has leveraged his expertise to support a range of socially focused organisations by enhancing their sales and business development operations. His contributions have been delivered through versatile engagements, including non-executive roles, fixed-term contracts, and consultancy projects aimed at fostering organisational growth and positive change.
Adam is now delighted to bring his experience to Molomix Bioscience, a UK-based biotechnology company with a mission to empower partners to solve humanity’s most pressing scientific and health challenges. He is particularly inspired by the company’s strategic partnership with SiGENEX, which will accelerate the commercialisation of groundbreaking, AI-powered diagnostic platforms poised to transform medical diagnostics. This collaboration aims to solve critical bottlenecks in healthcare by deploying a revolutionary platform that brings advanced molecular analysis directly to the point-of-need. Adam is driven by the opportunity to help advance a technology that directly tackles systemic issues, including crippling diagnostic delays, workforce shortages, and the escalating threat of antimicrobial resistance. For Adam, helping to expand the reach of Molomix represents a perfect alignment of his passion for social impact and the chance to be part of a venture that will redefine healthcare possibilities and reduce health inequalities.
Outside of his professional life, Adam is passionately building a natively eco-friendly smallholding and glamping site in the picturesque Brecon Beacons. He is also an avid squash player, cyclist, enjoys arts and crafts, and is a singer with the Dowlais Male Choir.
